DEL MONTE PHILIPPINES, INC. is in need of a Customer Development Manager.
Work Location:
The Customer Development Manager’s primary role is to develop and achieve productive partnerships with assigned food service accounts. You will ensure the effective implementation of channel strategies to meet volume targets, maximize product distribution, and manage account receivables while maintaining high customer service levels. Your work will be directly aligned with the unit’s strategic plans and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Volume & Revenue Growth: Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual volume plans by identifying business-building efforts and executing account-specific strategies.
- Distribution & Range Selling: Ensure the availability and sell-in of relevant food service products, utilizing menu ideation and product demonstrations to make offerings relevant to account operations.
- Account & Trade Management: Cultivate productive relationships with key personnel, conduct business reviews, and initiate programs to maximize brand exposure.
- Financial & Budget Oversight: Manage account receivables (DSO targets), monitor program spending within the approved budget, and manage "Bad Order" (BO) trade returns.
- Asset & Operations Management: Monitor the utilization and productivity of trade assets, such as juice dispensers and chillers, and provide management with operational reports and accurate volume forecasts.
- Merchandising: For CVS (Convenience Store) accounts, ensure product visibility, shelf prominence, and the proper use of merchandising materials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service sales, food service operations, or account management within an FMCG or pharmaceutical company.
- Experience in product detailing (preferably food products) and culinary-related roles.
- Demonstrates leadership experience.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and disciplines.
- Highly passionate, hardworking, and showing clear leadership potential.
