Community Connections Inc. is looking for Part-Time Wheelchair Van Drivers to join our Transportation Services team. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities by ensuring safety and providing freedom of movement and access to the community. You will aid Community Connections in their mission to provide optimal independence and enriching services to people with disabilities. We are looking for a Wheelchair Van Driver with a commitment to compassion, safety and serving the community. This position is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. AND from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What You'll Need as a Wheelchair Van Driver:
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- 3+ years as a licensed driver
- Ability to assist individuals in and out of vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen required
