Job Description
To support the analysis, design, and delivery of technology and process solutions across the commercial organization. This role is critical in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable specifications that enable effective, scalable solutions in a regulated and data-driven environment. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure initiatives align with business objectives, compliance considerations, and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial, operational, and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Assess current-state business processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within life sciences workflows.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and supporting documentation for technology and process initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical partners to ensure shared understanding of requirements and solution intent.
- Support solution design and delivery by reviewing proposed solutions, participating in testing activities, and validating outcomes against requirements.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and impacts clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
- Assist with change management efforts by supporting documentation, training materials, and adoption planning for new processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role focused on requirements gathering, process analysis, or business systems.
- Exposure to life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated commercial environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs and data.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and comprehensive requirements documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with common business analysis techniques such as process mapping, user stories, and workflow documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
