Position Overview
The Vice President (VP) serves as the primary engine for growth and operational excellence within JSI’s U.S. domestic portfolio, focusing on the state-level health and education ecosystem. This role owns the full business lifecycle—from strategic capture and market expansion to high-quality delivery—and is responsible for the portfolio's overall financial health.
The VP is responsible for achieving annual financial targets, optimizing resource utilization (billability), and expanding JSI’s footprint across federal agencies such as HHS, VA and others. As a senior leader, the VP mentors high-performing teams and ensures that federal projects drive measurable public health impact while maintaining the highest standards of contractual compliance.
The VP is responsible for achieving annual financial targets, optimizing resource utilization (billability), and expanding JSI’s footprint across State Health Agencies, State and Local Education Agencies, philanthropic foundations, and private-sector partners. As a senior leader, the VP mentors high-performing teams and ensures that state and local projects drive measurable public health and education impact while maintaining the highest standards of contractual compliance.
The VP collaborates closely with JSI’s Senior Leadership Team, Division heads, and Central Service leadership–particularly Business Development–to ensure organizational coordination and adherence to JSI policies. By collaborating across divisions to share technical innovations and create organizational synergies, the VP champions the "One JSI" approach.
