We are a small (but growing!) vegetable and meat farm located in Oxford Massachusetts adopting organic and no-till practices to create happy and healthy food for the greater community. Having operated for 5 years we proudly raise beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, flowers and delicious produce!
Description
We are looking for a garden farm hand who will help with
- Bed prep
- Pruning
- Seeding
- Planting
- Harvesting
- Washing
This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina. It requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods of time. The successful candidate must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Scheduling
We are looking for someone who can work mid April up until October; end dates can be flexible but should be stated upfront if possible.
You will be to working 2-3 days a week for 4-5 hours a day. Generally scheduled days are Monday-Friday mornings but rare afternoon and weekend hours may be needed based on weather or other outside circumstances.

Farm experience is encouraged but not required. Our team is made up of all different work backgrounds and we find it creates a richer and more skilled workplace.
