JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for packaging home delivered meals at the Central Kitchen.
JOB AUTHORITY: This position reports to the Packing Supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
I. Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 11:30 am in Northampton, MA.
II. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and move it at least 100 feet.
III. Must be able to safely perform all job functions consistent with food service duties.
IV. Must be able to write and fill out required forms.
V. Must have the ability to work both independently as well as cooperatively with other kitchen crew.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Prepares for daily packaging.
II. Plugs in volraths.
III. Sets up and fills coolers.
IV. Packages fruits and desserts for day's use.
V. Helps serve and package main meal.
VI. Assists in end-of-day clean up.
VII. Counts supplies for next day's use.
VIII. Participates in training and development activities to keep up with knowledge and skills leading to strong performance in this position.
IX. Participates in required quality performance initiatives within program area.
X. Performs other appropriate duties as assigned by the Food Service Coordinator.
XI. Takes charge when Food Service Coordinator is off site.
XII. Participate in Training, including Allergen Awareness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.84 per hour
