Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Team at our fast-paced restaurants Bocca and Soco Tavern. As a Full-Time Nights and Weekends Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our culinary team, and supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Responsibilities
- Work Week Nights and Weekends
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, boards, pots, and pans by hand and by using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Store clean dishes, glassware and other equipment appropriately.
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by regularly cleaning floors, and sanitizing countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Remove garbage regularly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in deep cleaning tasks during off-peak hours or as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.
- High School Diploma is a plus.
