The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong organic growth mindset to help scale Passive’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.
This is not a “post and pray” role. It’s about:
- Building narrative
- Driving inbound demand
- Creating cultural relevance
- Converting attention into waitlist signups and premium users
You’ll work directly with founders, influencers, and growth to turn Passive into a category-defining brand in career discovery.
What You’ll Own
Organic Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute an organic content strategy aligned to user growth goals.
- Identify high-leverage themes (career mobility, AI in hiring, passive income vs passive talent, recruiter costs, etc.).
- Turn product moments, data insights, and founder POVs into compelling content.
Content Creation & Distribution
- Create and publish high-performing organic content across platforms:
- LinkedIn (founder-led thought leadership + company page)
- Instagram (career discovery lifestyle + product clips)
- TikTok / short-form video
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form, viral-ready assets.
- Work with design/video to elevate production quality over time.
Founder-Led Content Engine
- Extract ideas from the CEO and founders and turn them into scroll-stopping posts.
- Position Passive as:
- The anti-job-board
- The AI-native alternative
- The discovery-first career platform
Community & Engagement
- Engage meaningfully with career, HR, and tech communities.
- Amplify influencer partnerships.
- Turn comments and DMs into insights and leads.
Performance & Iteration
- Track engagement, saves, shares, reach, and conversion to signups.
- Run experiments to identify scalable content formats.
- Optimize content based on what actually drives user growth.
Who We’re Looking For
This role requires someone who understands organic growth mechanics, not just aesthetics.
You’re likely a fit if you:
- Have 3–6+ years managing social media in a growth-focused environment.
- Have grown at least one account meaningfully (with proof).
- Understand LinkedIn deeply (this is critical).
- Know how to turn insights into narrative, not just graphics.
- Think in terms of distribution, hooks, and retention — not just posts.
Strong plus if you’ve:
- Worked at a startup or consumer product.
- Built personal brand growth before.
- Created short-form video content.
- Worked in career, tech, or AI-related spaces.
- Driven measurable user acquisition from organic channels.

- Clear content pillars established.

- Consistent weekly posting cadence across platforms.
