Position Summary:
The
Project Coordinator, GIS & Geospatial Support will provide project coordination and geospatial analysis support across Boston 26 Security and Transportation departments and B26 FWC public safety planning groups, contributing to transportation routing, logistics planning, operational coordination, and reporting dashboards to support situation awareness and decision-making during Tournament operations.
Core Responsibilities:
The role provides project management and GIS technical support across the Boston 26 (B26) Security and Transportation Department / Functions. Responsibilities include managing the B26 ArcGIS Hub, producing geospatial tools for routing and logistics, coordinating cross‑departmental meetings and documentation, maintaining project trackers and operational plans, and supporting information flow throughout planning and tournament operations. The position supports B26 Security and Transportation leadership through late summer 2026.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Urban Planning, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional GIS experience with large towns, cities, governments, and/or public safety organizations
