Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, stocking shelves, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse or retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with inventory management systems. Bilingual skills and warehouse experience are highly valued to support diverse customer needs and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Manage inventory control through accurate tracking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Organize stock in designated areas, ensuring proper placement for easy access and safety
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including loading and unloading shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support retail sales by replenishing stock on shelves, merchandising products, and assisting customers as needed
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move products within the warehouse or store
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock audits
- Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment or display purposes
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve workflow
- Support maintenance activities related to warehouse equipment and facilities
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, including familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish) are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of retail operations such as stocking, merchandising, cashiering, and retail math is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and stand for extended periods during shifts
