Automotive Parts Manager
We are seeking an experienced
Automotive Parts Manager with expertise in Ford automotive parts to join our team
in mid-March. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the parts department, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service to support our automotive service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the automotive parts department, focusing on Ford parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of parts to meet service demands.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Ford parts suppliers and vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate parts department staff to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to provide the correct parts and support efficient vehicle repairs.
- Monitor parts department budget and control costs effectively.
- Stay updated on Ford parts updates, recalls, programs and new product releases.
- Implement and maintain parts department policies and procedures in compliance with company standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by upper management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Manager, preferably with a focus on Ford vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of Ford automotive parts, systems, and accessories.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient with CDK and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid drivers license.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in automotive parts management is a plus.
