A venture capital firm is leading the financing of a dental technology company and is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the business through its next phase of development. The company is currently pre-commercial and has a strong technical and clinical foundation already in place. The incoming CEO will take ownership of fundraising, commercial strategy, and operational leadership.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the company as it transitions from R&D to commercial execution
- Creating and driving the investor narrative and leading follow-on fundraising
- Building early commercial strategy (pricing, GTM and partnerships)
- Hiring and developing the initial commercial and operational leadership team
- Working closely with the founder and technical leadership to translate innovation into market value
- Acting as the primary external face of the company with investors, partners and key customers
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a CEO who has already operated in early-stage, venture-backed environments. The preferred candidate will have:
- Raised venture or growth capital as a CEO or senior operator
- Strong commercial instincts and ability to build a credible go-to-market story
- Experience in the dental industry
- Comfort operating without infrastructure
- The ability to work productively with a founder transitioning into a non-CEO role
- Credibility with technical teams and confidence with investors
