Electronic Tester 2nd shift
Location: Newburyport, MA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Contract aprox 6 months with possible extenssion
Overview:
We are seeking a Test Operator to work on the production test floor, performing electrical testing of semiconductor products using manual and automated test equipment. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate test equipment per work instructions
- Perform electrical testing and visual inspections of devices
- Count and inspect products to meet quality standards
- Assist with engineering work orders
- Record and track pass/fail results using internal production systems
- Maintain a clean work environment and support basic production tasks
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred (semiconductor or microscope handling a plus)
- Basic mechanical skills and computer literacy
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently under pressure
- Able to read/write English and perform basic math
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/production floor with background noise
- Requires standing for extended periods and light to medium physical work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate production equipment
