Trinity Solar is seeking a motivated and highly skilled Installation Crew Leader—preferably a licensed electrician—to oversee the installation of residential solar energy systems. In this dynamic role, you'll combine hands-on technical work with field leadership, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with electrical codes and company quality standards.
As a Crew Leader, you will play a key role in guiding your team on-site, resolving technical challenges, and supporting homeowners as they transition to clean, renewable energy. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a licensed electrician or experienced solar professional looking to expand their leadership responsibilities and advance their career in a growing industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and actively participate in the installation of residential solar modules, racking, wiring, and electrical equipment in accordance with NEC requirements, local codes, and Trinity Solar's installation standards.
- Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to the installation crew, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety practices.
- Perform and oversee electrical work related to system installation, including wiring, conduit runs, and equipment connections, as permitted by licensure.
- Ensure thorough and accurate documentation of each installation, including photos, site details, array diagrams, and equipment configurations; submit all documentation promptly.
- Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, utility personnel, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite at all times.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment in accordance with Trinity Solar policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Electrician License, or documented progress toward licensure, strongly preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in solar installation, electrical work, or related construction fields.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, working on ladders, and performing tasks at heights for extended periods.
- Physical ability to kneel, crouch, lift, and move 40–50 lbs. regularly in varying outdoor conditions.
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of motivating teams, promoting safety, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and workmanship.

Compensation: $55000 - $65000 / year
