About the Role:
The Data Analyst will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making. This position focuses on using advanced SQL to extract, organize, and analyze data across multiple systems, supporting the creation of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that enhance visibility into claims and business performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, takes ownership of their work, and thrives on solving complex data problems with precision and curiosity. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain complex data marts using advanced SQL to support reporting and analytics across the organization.
- Source, integrate, and curate data from internal and external vendor systems, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Conduct thorough data quality assurance (QA) of claims and operational data to validate accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Maintain clear documentation of data sources, logic, and transformations to promote transparency and reproducibility
- Develop, enhance, and manage Tableau dashboards that deliver actionable insights and visibility into claims and business performance.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes, producing recurring and ad hoc reports that track key operational metrics and uncover performance trends.
- Partner with cross-functional and senior leadership teams to measure outcomes, evaluate initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations that guide strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative or technical field.
- 1+ year of full-time experience as a Data Analyst.
- Advanced SQL scripting and strong Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Able to interpret data and share findings with technical and non-technical audiences
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bonus: Experience with Tableau or similar tools to build dashboards
- Bonus: Experience with automation tools

Salary Range:
The pay range for this position is $63,500 - $86,500 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
