Busy Bee Learning Center is looking to hire a full time one on one teacher for a student in our Pre-K program. Teachers who are willing to work on their certification will be considered. This would require teachers to be enrolled in the Growth and Development course and work 9 months in the classroom to obtain their required hours. A background record check and fingerprinting is required. As well as a 13 hour paid training prior to starting.
The one on one support staff would be assigned to one child who needs direct supervision, assist in helping her to follow classroom rules and behavior management. Training will happen upon hiring.
Candidate must be patient, calm and willing to take trainings to understand the child's disability.
This position is year round, at this time. Pay is $18.50-$19.50 depending on education and certifications. Possibility that it is temporary due to funding. Will reapply for funding each time it expires.
