Thirwood Place, Cape Cod’s premier senior living community, is looking for Servers to join our team. We are seeking year-round team members for evening shifts that begin at 4 p.m. Weekends and holiday availability a must.
This a great opportunity to work in the food service industry as a Server without having to work late night hours. All dining service at Thirwood Place concludes in the early evening each day.
Very convenient for students and those looking for part-time early evening shifts.
The Server is responsible for providing friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our residents. The prompt service of beverages and food in accordance with Thirwood Place's quality standards is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time in a neat, clean and wrinkle-free uniform.
- Always provide a professional image through appearance, dress and behavior. A high degree of personal hygiene is also a must.
- Knowledge of resident's names, dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Interact with our residents to respond to any additional needs. Ensure our residents are satisfied with the food and beverage service. Respond promptly and courteously to any request.
- Maintain table appearance by pre-busing, checking drink levels, removing clutter and providing extra napkins if necessary.
- Perform side work at the start, during and end of each shift as required.
- Must be able to deliver plates with food and clear tables, which may require lifting up to 30 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
