JOB
Responsible for ensuring correct cash collections and disbursements within the Collections Department. Work is performed under the supervision of the Treasurer. No supervision is exercised over other employees.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Collects payments and answers questions from the public via the window.Responds to collection inquiries via the telephone.Prepares and researches refunds because of overages on taxes.Processes customer payments received in the mail or through lock box.Helps other departments as needed.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
High school diploma or equivalent.One year of previous customer service experience.
