Job Summary (List Format) – Project Manager (Boston, MA, Onsite)

Title: Project Manager
Duration: 5+ Month Contract
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite, locals only)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage large-scale, complex technology projects, including network infrastructure upgrades (wired & wireless) and real estate build-outs.
Apply project feature prioritization and backlog grooming methods.
Use Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools for tracking and reporting.
Accurately track, forecast, and report project financials; provide accrual information to Finance.
Apply principles of finance and cost-benefit analysis (e.g., ROI, NPV, payback, opportunity costs).
Practice Agile methodologies for project delivery.
Facilitate project meetings and ensure accountability of team members for deliverables and escalation of blockers.
Maintain accurate and timely representation of project status and updates.
Manage collaborative projects, including those with vendors and packaged software.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management.
Proven track record with large, complex projects.
Hands-on experience in Agile practices.
Direct experience with network infrastructure and end-user computing projects.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Experience with project feature prioritization and backlog methods.
Financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

Biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.
Experience with high-growth stage companies.
Agile CSM, PSM, or similar certification.
PMP or Prince2 certification.

Leadership & Collaboration

Demonstrated leadership presence and advanced presentation skills.
Ability to facilitate project meetings and hold team members accountable.
Commitment to transparent and timely communication of project status.
Highly collaborative; builds strong relationships within technology and business teams.
Proactively anticipates and manages project risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.

Innovation & Analytical Skills

Analytical, objective, and strategic mindset.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and analyze processes for improvement.
Understanding of previously implemented technology solutions.
