Company Overview:
A global multi-family office and investment advisory firm is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join their Boston office. The role involves implementation, analysis, and performance reporting for investment strategies within client portfolios.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure client portfolio data quality and integrity
- Develop and prepare periodic client reporting packages via Addepar
- Prepare client-facing communications, including investment reviews and ad hoc analyses
- Develop and maintain client-specific portfolio models
- Build customized financial models in MS Excel for client analysis
- Execute trades in equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and derivatives as directed
- Reconcile portfolio management models post-trade and periodically
- Update portfolio management models pre- and post-trade
- Assist with investment research diligence as needed
- Conduct portfolio research requests from Portfolio Management and Client Advisory teams
- Monitor portfolios for compliance with Investment Policy Statements
- Maintain client-level and security-level data for compliance with reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate coursework in accounting, finance, statistics, computer science, economics, or mathematics
- 2-4 years of related investing experience
- Solid understanding of portfolio theory and accounting
- High proficiency with MS Excel
- Completion or expectation to complete the NASAA Investment Advisers Law Examination (Series 65)
- Participation and progress in CFA Program encouraged
- Familiarity with Addepar and Bloomberg is a plus
Compensation:
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000, Plus Bonus
