Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of copper roofing systems, precision fabrication, soldering, and installation of architectural sheet metal details.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate, install, and solder copper roofing systems including standing seam, flat seam, batten seam, and custom flashing details.
Perform detailed work on gutters, downspouts, cornices, domes, and other architectural copper features.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Operate sheet metal machinery (brakes, shears, rollers) safely and efficiently.
Inspect work to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality control.
Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and team members to meet project timelines.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in architectural sheet metal roofing, specializing in copper.
Proficient in soldering, layout, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to work at heights and use safety harnesses and fall protection gear.
Strong knowledge of hand and power tools related to sheet metal work.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to craftsmanship.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
