To lead this charge, we seek a passionate Director of Product. The ideal candidate has a solid background in product management, defense industry experience, and a strong interest in utilizing technology to modernize defense logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Tagup's defense product, aligning with the company's overall goals and market opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with defense agencies, government contractors, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities
Product Development: Lead the product development process, working closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams
Roadmap Planning: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market feedback, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product adoption and scaling
Regulatory/Cybersecurity Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance requirements impacting defense products and ensure Tagup's offerings meet all necessary standards
Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on defense or related industries
Deep understanding of defense procurement processes, regulations, and customer requirements
Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in complex, regulated environments
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment
Ability to travel as needed to engage with customers and partners
Must be eligible for a US Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with logistics and supply chain applications
A deep enough understanding of basic front-end and back-end web technologies to consider capabilities and limitations
Experience with or interest in working with visual design tools to communicate ideas
2+ years of experience in product management/product ownership for a highly operational production software implementation
