What We Are Looking For We are seeking a motivated, punctual, and reliable Orthodontic Assistant with a fantastic attitude, great communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Previous orthodontic assisting or dental/sales background is a plus, but we are willing to provide full on-the-job training for the right person.
- Our practice is completely digital, so candidates must be comfortable and proficient with computer systems (specifically Mac OS).
- Valid MA Dental Assisting License and X-Ray Certification are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients, managing chair-side flow, and preparing patients for appointments.
- Chair-side assisting for routine orthodontic adjustments, photo, X-rays, intra-oral scanning, 3D printing setup, and retainer fabrication.
- Educating patients/parents on oral hygiene, treatment progress, and post-procedure care.
- Setting up, breaking down, disinfecting, and sterilizing treatment areas and instruments according to OSHA and HIPAA protocols.
- Participating in occasional internal/external marketing and community outreach events.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday – Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- Thursday: 8:15 AM – 4:45 PM
- Saturdays: 1 Saturday per month from 9:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Potential to add Mondays (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) for candidates seeking full-time hours.
