We’re seeking a Senior Director, People & Culture Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the President of Delta Dental of Massachusetts—driving high-impact people strategies that advances our mission and strengthens our culture.

What You’ll Do
Strategic People Leadership
- Serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership on all people and culture matters
- Align talent strategy with business priorities, mission, and long-term vision
- Drive multi-year people strategies that enable growth and organizational effectiveness
Talent & Organizational Excellence
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies
- Guide leadership through complex employee relations and performance matters
- Champion a strong, results-driven, pay-for-performance culture
Culture & Engagement
- Shape and lead initiatives that strengthen colleague engagement and connection—especially within a predominantly remote workforce
- Leverage insights and data to inform action and improve culture outcomes
- Foster a strong sense of community aligned with organizational values
Leadership & Capability Development
- Partner with enterprise teams to design and deliver leadership development and change initiatives
- Build leadership effectiveness, accountability, and organizational readiness
- Evaluate impact and continuously improve people programs
What You Bring
- 15+ years of progressive Senior HR Business Partner experience (or HR Dept Head in smaller organizations)
- Proven experience aligning business strategy to overall talent strategy to drive company performance
- Deep expertise across all HR functions, with strengths in organizational design, change management, and leadership development
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders in complex environments
- Experience supporting remote or hybrid organizations
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s and SPHR preferred

Physical Demands
- Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to operate personal computer and related technologies.
- Incumbent works primarily in a remote environment or a private or shared office environment.
- Role will require on-site averaging two days per week in the Charlestown, MA office.
The target hiring range for this role is $225,000 - $250,000 (Annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
