Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of Payroll and HRIS systems experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite
- Comfortable working with HRIS system(s) - such as ADP, Ceridian, Dayforce, WorkforceNow or Peoplesoft
- Understanding interactions, reports, and data analytics
- Strong customer service and team player mindset
- Understanding state taxes, labour laws, payroll procedurs and policies, general labour reports, stakeholder analytics, and data analytics as it pertains to HR
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with Dayforce
- Knowledge of Benefits fees
Job Description
A healthcare organization in New Bedford, MA is seeking an HRIS/Payroll specialist to join their HR team. The successful candidate's time will be spent equally supporting biweekly payroll and the newly implemented HRIS system, Dayforce. The successful candidate should be a team player and be well-versed in policies and procedures for payroll and labour laws. Prior experience with HRIS system(s) is required. This role will be involved in maintaining stakeholder analytics, labour reports and some system maintenance and management.
This role is on-site in New Bedford x4 days per week with Thursdays WFH. With good performance, this role will convert full-time.
