Position Summary:
The Executive Vice President of Sales is a strategic and results-oriented executive responsible for developing and executing the company's sales and marketing strategy to drive profitable growth, market expansion, and customer retention. As a key member of the leadership team, the EVP of Sales provides vision, direction, and leadership to the sales organization while fostering strong relationships with customers, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.
This executive will leverage data-driven decision-making, market intelligence, and industry expertise to identify growth opportunities, optimize sales performance, and strengthen the company's competitive position. The EVP of Sales is accountable for achieving revenue, margin, and profitability objectives while building a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture aligned with the organization's long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for formulation of sales and marketing strategy, objectives and sales programs designed to achieve maximum profitability and long-term growth in alignment with overall organizational goals. Execute on those plans.
· Set KPI targets for volume, pricing and margins by market segment.
· Use data analytics and insights to assess sales performance, strategies, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decision making to optimize sales performance.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Lead the sales organization in all planning and budgeting processes; work collaboratively cross-functionally to create a coherent and consistent plan.
· Review and approve the sales forecasts. Have answers for gaps and solutions to close them.
· Maintain an adequate sales pipeline for growth. Manage or directly negotiate agreement terms to ensure acceptable outcomes and close deals.
· Identify new products, customers and market applications.
Leadership:
· Recruit, mentor, lead and inspire a high-performing sales organization.
· Establish training programs and materials to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools for success.
· Hold the sales organization accountable to established KPI metrics, policies and procedures.
· Use effective resource allocation, set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback. Make sure Sales Managers are also doing this with their teams.
· Promote a positive, empowered culture by leading through action.
· Ensure department has updated SOPs, cross training and succession plans in place to mitigate risk and ensure consistent operations.
Other Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with other members of leadership on EFI’s strategic direction and to ensure a seamless, positive customer experience.
· Analyze market trends, the competitive landscape and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of industry changes.
· Monitor customer activity, anticipate client needs, build strong client relationships and improve overall customer satisfaction.
· Keep the leadership team informed of new developments and opportunities.
· Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive business development.
· Drive the adoption of best practices in sales processes, tools and techniques.
· Ensure internal pricing and product databases are accurate and stay updated. In addition, ensure customer portals and databases are also maintained and accurate.
· Attend tradeshows and visit customers; as well as, other travel as needed to be an reliable, valued expert in the industry.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive sales leadership experience, including significant executive-level responsibility.
· Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
· Experience leading multi-level sales organizations, including Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and field sales teams.
· Demonstrated success in strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
· Experience negotiating complex customer agreements and managing key account relationships.
· Strong understanding of sales analytics, CRM systems, KPI development, and data-driven decision-making.
· Experience identifying and developing new market opportunities, products, and strategic partnerships.

Benefits and Salary Range:
