Role Description
On Deck Sports is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and completion of sports facility projects nationwide. This role will work closely with sales, operations, installation teams, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across departments, and has strong project management and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple projects from kickoff through completion
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, timelines.
- Communicate project updates with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and installation schedules
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, purchase orders, and change orders
- Coordinate shipping logistics
- Support field teams with project-related administrative needs
- Identify and resolve project issues proactively to maintain timelines
- Ensure projects comply with company quality standards and customer expectations
- Assist with process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Project coordination, operations, construction, logistics, or related experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with CRM or project management software preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of project scheduling and logistics coordination
- Familiarity with sports facility construction or athletic equipment installation
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
