Position Summary
The Education Programs Coordinator plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of PRIM&R’s Annual Conference and year-round educational programming. This position provides administrative, logistical, and technical support across conferences, webinars, workshops, and online learning programs, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality attendee experiences.
Working closely with the Education Programs Manager, Director of Programs, and Senior Education Program Designer, the Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative, logistical, and technical support across conference and education programs. This role coordinates volunteers, speakers, and committees; maintains program platforms and systems; and helps ensure a high-quality experience for speakers, attendees, and learners.
The Education Programs Coordinator also leads the administration of the conference Poster Presentation Program and serves as part of PRIM&R’s customer service and registration team.
What you’ll do:
Conference Support
- Support the development and execution of the Annual Conference in collaboration with the Director of Programs and Education Programs Manager
- Coordinate volunteers, subject-matter experts, speakers, content authors, and external vendors
- Serve as a primary point of contact for conference volunteers, speakers, and attendees, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines
- Coordinate planning committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, documenting discussions, and maintaining project management tools
- Assist with the creation, maintenance, and updates of the conference agenda and attendee event platform
- Lead the administration of the Poster Presentation Program, including abstract collection, review coordination, and communication with poster authors
- Support speaker management, including maintaining the speaker portal, sending invitations and planning materials, tracking responses, processing registrations, and responding to inquiries
- Provide on-site support during conferences, assisting staff, speakers, attendees, exhibitors, and vendors, and troubleshooting technical issues
Education and Online Learning Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for education program speakers and attendees
- Support the operational delivery of live webinars, workshops, and online courses, including tracking and setup
- Provide technical support for online programming as needed
- Assist with the maintenance of webinar recordings and online course libraries within the learning management system
- Track participation data, engagement metrics, and basic program statistics to support evaluation and reporting
- Assist with the preparation of discussion guides, facilitator materials, and other supporting resources, as needed
- Assist with the organization and launch of new online learning initiatives
- Document education program workflows and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency
Customer Service & Administrative Support
- Serve as a member of the customer service and registration team which entails responding to general inquiries related to education programs/conferences, processing memberships, event registrations, substitutions and transfers.
- Support cross-departmental projects and special assignments as needed
Salary & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $50,000 -$60,000. PRIM&R offers a full benefits package, including medical, dental, 401k, generous paid time off, flexible work schedule, summer hours, commuter and home office equipment support, and professional development support. Travel: This position requires travel to the PRIM&R Annual Conference, with additional travel as organizational needs dictate.
