📣 We're hiring: Growth Strategy & Intelligence Manager (Cambridge, MA)
We are hiring a Growth Strategy & Intelligence Manager to join the growing Innovation Strategy Department (ISD) within Ajinomoto's Boston/Cambridge hub, located in Kendall Square.
This is a highly visible, hands-on strategy role focused on helping shape Ajinomoto’s long-term growth agenda across healthcare, advanced materials, and emerging technology domains. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, market intelligence, innovation planning, and decision support, partnering closely with senior leaders across strategy, R&D, business teams, and Corporate Venture Capital in both the U.S. and Japan.
A major part of this role is helping to build and scale how innovation strategy and strategic intelligence are done within the organization. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, developing practical tools and frameworks, and helping establish repeatable approaches for insight generation, strategic planning, and decision support.
We’re looking for someone with a strong consulting-style toolkit who can independently frame ambiguous strategic questions, synthesize weak signals across science and markets, develop actionable insights, and translate complex analyses into executive-ready recommendations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead market, technology, and competitive intelligence efforts across emerging growth areas
- Translate incomplete or early-stage information into strategic hypotheses, scenarios, and recommendations
- Support long-range planning, portfolio prioritization, and opportunity evaluation
- Design and facilitate strategy discussions and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Help build scalable approaches, tools, and processes for innovation strategy development across the organization
