Job Description: Modern Energy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Technician to join our HVAC department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and hands-on experience with heat pump systems, including central, and ductless systems. Experience with VRF a plus but not strictly necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: this position requires hands-on work in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee service operations, ensuring high-quality customer service and timely repairs.
- Perform repairs and service in the field.
- Troubleshoot issues with customers over the phone.
- Manage, train, and support service technicians.
- Coordinate scheduling and maintain service records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues over the phone and in the field.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience, with expertise in heat pump systems.
- Valid Universal EPA license.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Fluent in English.
