VP of Manufacturing Operations

Our client is a Global Manufacturing organization serving a wide variety of industries. They have been a staple for over 60 years and have roughly 800 employees across multiple manufacturing facilities worldwide. The business has experienced strong recent growth, highlighted by a $20M+ investment in a new manufacturing facility that is expected to expand production capacity by roughly 50% to meet increasing customer demand across several end markets.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the manufacturing team in assigned locations, including global logistics/supply chain, EHS, and Maintenance. Will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and operations excellence. Mentor and develop team members to build a high performing and motivated workforce.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operation, including production scheduling, resource allocation and workflow management. Ensure that production targets and KPIs are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for membrane manufacturing operations in alignment with company’s overall objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain robust quality assurance and continuous improvement processes to ensure that membrane products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a large-scale manufacturing operations
- Excellent leadership, team management, communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Vendor negotiation and contract management
- Knowledge of transportation modes and regulations
- Experience with free trade agreements, duty drawback, and special trade programs.
