Company Overview:Dumpling Daughter opened its flagship restaurant in Weston, Massachusetts in 2014, a location that still serves our food to the local community, and where the headquarter office remains today. The company now boasts distribution in 4000+ grocery retail stores nationwide, a strong Amazon footprint servicing all 50 states and a bourgeoning foodservice business. Here in 2026, we are now an omni-channel brand that operates in multiple categories with national distribution.

POSITION OVERVIEW – FOODSERVICE SALES DIRECTOR
Location: Remote position
Reporting to: Andrew Bellisano, Vice President of Sales
Dumpling Daughter is a high growth company searching for a knowledgeable foodservice sales professional who is a hands-on individual, willing to get out and grow the channel one customer at a time.
The role requires a strong understanding of the foodservice channel and the ability to develop and execute a sales growth strategy in line with overall company goals. This person will have control of their own success by building the business with a healthy number of existing distributors and customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build out foodservice strategy with Dumpling Daughter leadership team and execute against strategy
- Manage broker partners and potentially hire broker teams against the business
- Manage total foodservice spend to be in line with company trade spend target
- Approximately 35%+ domestic travel, including days in the field, trade shows, headquarter visits and meetings.
- Engage with your network to gain immediate product adoption and awareness
- Represent Dumpling Daughter in sales meetings and customer visits
- Engage with customers through visits, emails, and phone calls
- Build relationships with operators/chefs and distributor partners
- New business acquisition, including independent, medium sized and national chains
- Includes research, outreach, presentations, meetings, and coordination of ordering/distribution to service the business.
- Management of foodservice distributor relationships, including but not limited to Sysco/European Imports, Chefs Warehouse, PFG, and local distributors in the Midwest and New England.
- Attend food shows and meetings
- Set up promotions and new items
- Work with the distributor sales reps to grow Dumpling Daughter business
- Attend national food shows / conferences: Help with booth set-up, sampling, customer acquisition/outreach, follow-ups, etc.
- Track success via CRM, Rep list, etc. and share internally
- Frequent outreach to FS reps
- Ensure follow up is THE #1 PRIORITY – shows, customer visits, sales meetings, ride-withs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years sales experience, with a least 2+ years in the foodservice channel
- Experience with Foodservice distributor network, primarily Sysco/European Imports, Chefs Warehouse and DOT Foods
- Strong knowledge of college/university segment
- Passionate about food and customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Entrepreneurial, scrappy, organized, and able to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience (not necessary):
- Frozen food / Asian food past experience
- Working closely with Founder led businesses
