Job Summary
We are a well-established, full-service repair shop located in Uxbridge, MA. We have an immediate opening for a talented, hard-working individual to join our team of technicians. We're currently looking to fill a Diesel Mechanic position.
Wages will be determined according to knowledge and the experience you bring to the company. We offer competitive wages commensurate with the industry and your experience, benefits, and growth opportunities as well as steady overtime.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
- A complete set of hand tools for heavy-duty truck repair
- Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicles; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Commercial License preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of DOT standards
- Proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repairs including PMs, air & hydraulic brakes and basic vehicle diagnostics
- Preventative Maintenance repairs on diesel engine vehicles such as replacing or rotating tires, completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs and cooling system maintenance
- Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
- Ability to work independently with a "can do" attitude
- Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Pay: $22.00 - $25.50 per hour
