Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

- Valid U.S. driver’s license is REQUIRED
- Must have reliable access to an insured personal vehicle
- Applicants without lived experience, a driver’s license, and a vehicle will NOT be considered
- Must be able to pass a driving background check
Vinfen is seeking a Lead Peer Specialist to provide leadership, supervision, and direct peer support services for adults receiving ACCS services. This role uses lived experience to promote recovery, engagement, and full community integration while supervising Peer Specialists and modeling recovery‑oriented practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct peer support using lived experience and recovery principles
- Welcome, engage, and orient persons served into ACCS services
- Supervise, coach, and support Peer Specialists
- Facilitate peer support and WRAP groups
- Promote engagement, housing stability, employment, and wellness
- Support skill‑building, self‑advocacy, and recovery planning
- Collaborate with clinicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain documentation in accordance with Peer Specialist standards
- Participate in trainings, leadership meetings, and communities of practice
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Lived experience with mental health services is REQUIRED
- 1–3 years of peer support experience required
- Certified Peer Specialist credential preferred (must obtain within required timeframe)
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
- Commitment to recovery‑oriented, person‑centered, and trauma‑informed care
