Equities Analyst – Long-Oriented Single Manager | Boston
A multi-billion-dollar, founder-led, long-oriented single manager is looking to add an Equities Analyst to its Boston-based team.
The firm runs a concentrated, fundamentals-driven strategy focused on owning a small number of high-conviction positions over a multi-year horizon. The portfolio is invested in high-quality businesses across industrials, infrastructure, and energy transition, with an emphasis on durable, long-term growth.
The team is intentionally lean with a flat structure centered around the Portfolio Manager and a small group of investors, creating a true investing environment where analysts are directly involved in idea generation, research, and portfolio construction from day one.
The role will focus on industrials and adjacent real-economy sectors, with full exposure to the investment process including deep fundamental research, idea generation, thesis development, and direct involvement in portfolio decisions alongside senior leadership.
Key Requirements:
- 4–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or public markets investing
- Prior experience covering industrials, infrastructure, energy transition, or related sectors
- Strong fundamental equity analysis and financial modelling skills
- Genuine interest in long-term, concentrated investing
- High intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail
