SmallCorp is a “small”, family-owned, successful manufacturer located in Greenfield, MA. With over 50 years in the business, we are a leader in the design and manufacture of archival exhibit cases, museum-quality picture frames, aluminum honeycomb support panels, and other art conservation and preservation products.
Our craftsmanship can be found displaying the collections of many of the largest and most prestigious museums and educational institutions, both throughout the United States and internationally.
We are committed to sustainability and improving our green credentials at our 36,000-square-foot energy-efficient facility, which is powered by a 160kW solar photovoltaic system.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read a measuring tape to a 1/32, with absolutely no exceptions! A measurement comprehension test will be part of the interview.
- Must be able to read and comprehend shop drawings and written and verbal instructions.
- Must ensure that quality standards are continually and consistently met.
- Math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing are required.
- Visual ability to see close up, see color, and adjust focus is key!
The duties of this job require standing, walking, and reaching for objects of various weights. The employee must:
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The work can be physically demanding so a pre-employment physical will be required.
Hours are from 6am to 2:30pm M-F, with occasional opportunity for overtime.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
