Job Description:
The
Social Media Manager (Organic Social & Influencer Marketing) will support the development and execution of integrated social and creator marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion for Chewy Vet Care. This role manages day-to-day social programming, influencer partnerships, and campaign execution while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver full-funnel marketing initiatives and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of organic social and influencer marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for Chewy Vet Care.
- Manage and maintain the brand social content calendar, translating campaign priorities and business objectives into platform-native content plans and creative briefs.
- Develop and execute influencer marketing programs alongside our influencer agency, including identifying, vetting, and managing relationships with creators across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Partner with creators and internal creative teams to produce authentic, engaging social content, including evergreen storytelling, campaign-based content, and real-time social moments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Performance Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Creative, PR, and Community Management teams to support integrated campaigns and ensure alignment across channels.
- Work closely with Chewy’s in-house veterinary experts to inform customer-first campaigns that build pet health awareness for both consumer and B2B audiences.
- Monitor and analyze organic social and influencer performance, identifying trends, insights, and optimization opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Contribute to campaign reporting and measurement, partnering with analytics teams to deliver actionable insights and connect social performance to broader marketing impact.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and creator marketing best practices, recommending new opportunities and technologies to evolve social and influencer programs.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field required.
- 5 years working in a social or influencer marketing role
- Experience in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development.
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to new strategies, processes, and innovation with a positive attitude in driving adoption as well as a continuous improvement mindset with structured problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability developing social creative is a requirement (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.)
The base salary range for this role is $78,500 - $130,000.00.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
