Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong interest in gardening and lawn care. This position involves performing various trimming tasks in gardens, farms, and greenhouses, ensuring that plants are well-maintained and healthy. The Trimmer will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and aesthetics of our landscapes.
Duties
- Perform trimming and pruning of plants, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for effective trimming operations.
- Assist with irrigation tasks to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in seasonal planting and garden maintenance activities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the functions of this job, an employee must sit, walk, stand, or remain stationary during the entire shift. The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and frequently required to handle cannabis products. Employees must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stop and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping. This may include repetitive tasks using hands and fingers. Employees must frequently wash their hands and lift or move up to 20 pounds. Employees must be able to wear required PPE throughout the shift, including, but not limited to gloves, protective eyewear, facemask, and protective gown/jumpsuit over regular clothing. Employees must be able to visually inspect products for proper quality.

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with cannabis
- Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not required
- Must be able to handle repetitive tasks
- Basic weight and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
