CT Brigham, a local and well established business, is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic warehouse helper. The ideal candidate will be motivated and eager to work in a busy and ever changing environment, and will always be ready to take on new projects. Flexibility and agility will be key to success in this role. The willingness to grow and adapt within the company is also very important. This candidate will be expected to work well with others, and will have the opportunity to be part of a long term team environment. Previous warehouse experience is not required, but would be helpful.
Specific daily tasks will include: Unloading freight from tractor trailers, stocking freight, picking daily orders, retrieving orders for customers, general facility maintenance and anything else to assist in daily operations as instructed. The candidate must be able to lift boxes up to 50lbs and be on their feet for most of the day.
The ideal candidate will also be able to serve as a potential backup driver as needed when the full time drivers are out. A valid drivers license and health card will be REQUIRED for this role. Driving records will be checked with the RMV, and driving experience is preferred. Training will be provided. Health Insurance is available if needed, with employee contributions.
