About the Role:
Boston Rehabilitation Center/Shore Point Recovery in Wareham, MA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Group Facilitator with a background in Art Therapy to provide group services for clients in our substance abuse treatment program. This is a 1099 per diem position ideal for someone who values flexibility and enjoys delivering creative, clinically sound therapeutic groups.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging, clinically driven art therapy groups for clients in recovery
- Incorporate evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care
- Document group notes accurately and timely (per program requirements)
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain high-quality programming
- Support a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes healing and growth
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a clinical field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Art Therapy, or related)
- Licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts preferred (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, ATR, etc.)
- Experience working with individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders strongly preferred
- Strong group facilitation skills and comfort working in a structured treatment environment
- Ability to work independently as a contractor and maintain professional boundaries
