Imagine yourself as a full time Paint Associate working in our North Adams store. You could be helping with the day-to-day operations for the store including, helping customers find product, ringing through sales, stocking shelves, mixing paint and assisting customer with their color choices.

We are looking for you, a local Contractor or Sales expert to join our Team!

Your responsibilities will be:

To build and grow strong relationships, advising contractors/homeowners regarding paint needs
Actively demonstrate product knowledge: types (i.e. premium vs. economy, finishes (i.e. flat, satin, eggshell, and semi-gloss),faux and decorative finishes, tools including sprayers, rollers, brushes, and different uses of adhesives, solvents and caulk
Use and maintain various equipment and machinery to match and mix paint; visually distinguish slight color variations
Ordering product, stock shelves, neatly and safely display products
Ensuring customers are made aware of discounts and promotions

Skills & Qualities of the Paint Sales Expert

Strong professional customer service skills in dealing with a myriad of different customers. Building strong relationships for the future
Strong technical knowledge of paint and paint related products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
learn multiple computer systems and different company requirements
Work well in high-pressure situations and to “think on your feet.”
Demonstrating top-notch organizational and problem solving skills?
Ability to lift 50-80 LBS
To work as part of an outstanding team
