Location: Weymouth MA

Job Description:

As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by overseeing all aspects of our human resources department. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our company's goals and values. Your main objective will be to attract, develop, and retain top talent to support our mission and drive our organization forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals and values
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and offboarding
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Manage and maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure HR processes are efficient and effective.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other HR service providers.
  • Create and manage employee benefits programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Conduct regular employee engagement surveys and develop action plans to address any areas of improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and policies


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the education or non-profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies
  • Experience in managing and developing HR staff
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software
  • Passion for the non-profit sector and commitment to our mission
