About the Role

Stylus Medicine is seeking a dynamic and proactive leader to drive project management and operations across our R&D portfolio. This individual will collaborate closely with a seasoned executive team and passionate scientists in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. In this high-impact role reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, this individual will drive progress across Stylus's research portfolio by:

• Providing direct, day-to-day, hands-on project management of R&D programs
• Coordinating a high-functioning portfolio review process
• Leading the establishment of a R&D project management and operations function
• Organizing advisory boards, program deep dives, special projects, and more
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Brings:

• Track record of effective drug discovery R&D project management (required)
• Deep understanding of the decision-making in early-stage drug development (required)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to influence without authority (required)
• Effectiveness in ambiguity and fast-moving environments (required)
• Expertise in leading productive, decision-focused meetings (required)
• Commitment to being an on-site and in-person colleague (required)
• Background in cell and gene therapy and an advanced scientific degree (highly preferred)
