Position Summary

Cambrian College’s School of Health and Wellness requires part-time professors to teach in the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program beginning September 2025.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Either a Registered Occupational Therapist with current registration, and in good standing, with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, or a Registered Physiotherapist with current registration, and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application).
  • Three years of experience working within the area of physiotherapy or occupational therapy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and students
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to integrate innovative teaching methods into course delivery
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom

Additional Assets/Preferred:

  • Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level

  • Educational documents
    • WES/ICAS Equivalence if degrees/diplomas are from a Non-Canadian University
  • College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, or the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
