  • Deliver data science support for assigned brand(s), partnering with brand teams to develop and implement models, insights, and data products aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Analyze large-scale data sets to identify key insights that inform product and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover growth opportunities, define data requirements, establish key metrics, and promote data-driven solutions.
  • Design, deploy, and evaluate experiments to drive higher adoption, improved business performance, and enhanced consumer experience.
  • Conduct exploratory analyses, select and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms, and build optimization engines for impactful solutions.
  • Research and apply new data science and engineering technologies to enhance team capabilities.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings to senior management, translating technical concepts into actionable business insights.

Key Qualifications

  • Proficient in relational databases (SQL) and distributed systems (Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Skilled in building data science pipelines/applications using Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Practical and theoretical expertise in ML algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection).
  • Experience applying advanced statistical methodologies (Bayesian, non-parametric techniques, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, regression, fixed/random effects).
  • Hands-on experience with big data environments (Hadoop, Spark) and manipulating/analyzing unstructured data.
  • Strong ability to extract business insights from data and identify underlying drivers.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex analyses to senior executives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative field required.
  • Advanced degree in applied econometrics, statistics, data mining, machine learning, analytics, mathematics, operations research, industrial engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in food and beverage services is a plus.
