Overview
Weston Golf Club, a family-oriented private club, is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional. Located west of Boston, The Weston Golf Club was founded in 1894 and was designed by Donald Ross. The club plays 17,000-20,000 rounds annually and has an active tournament and junior schedule.
Position Description
Assist the Head Professional in overseeing the management and proper maintenance of the entire golf operation at The Weston Golf Club. Areas of focus will include (but are not limited to) customer service, tournament operations, merchandising, sales, individual and group lessons, monitoring play, playing golf with WGC members, cart fleet management, bag room operations, caddie program, practice facilities, tournament operations, and personnel management.
Working knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software is required. PGA Junior League experience preferred.
This position will involve a mix of tournament operations, teaching, and golf shop operations. The successful candidate will be able to take on and complete tasks with little to no supervision. Attention to detail, multitasking, and the ability to build relationships will contribute to the success of the position. Join a strong team where you will be supported and set up for success.

Experience Required
Private Club experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software.
PGA Junior League experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication and attention to detail.
Passion for the golf industry and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
PGA Member or Associate / Desire to enter program.
Experience with instruction preffered.
Essential Responsibilities
Qualified candidates should expect to be in this position for two (2) to three (3) years and possess a strong desire to pursue a career in golf. Private club experience is preferred.
Candidates must be highly motivated, hard-working, and team players. Qualified applicants should be service-oriented, possess exceptional communication skills & attention to detail.
