Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform tasks like grading, excavation, lifting, and material transportation
Manage construction site activities by safely maneuvering equipment including Caterpillar machines, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks.
Conduct routine inspections on machinery to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to execute site plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines
Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and equipment as needed
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational logs for accountability

Requirements

Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active sites with a solid understanding of construction processes
Mechanical knowledge sufficient to troubleshoot basic machinery issues quickly and safely
Valid 2A license for operating large vehicles such as Loaders, excavators, skid steers and more
Familiarity with various machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation in construction environments
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and precision
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
