Responsibilities

Safely load and unload various types of junk, including heavy furniture and appliances, using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
Operate box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission to transport debris to designated disposal sites
Drive route-specific trucks confidently, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols during pickups and drop-offs
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the removal process
Assist with warehouse organization and maintenance when not actively removing junk
Use manual tools and equipment to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes
Maintain cleanliness of trucks and work areas, following safety standards at all times

Requirements

Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse work preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina is required for moving bulky items
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and route driving experience
Knowledge of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other loading tools is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients
Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work in various weather conditions
Experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
