Join Our Team

We are seeking a evenings/weekends on-call admissions coordinator to assist us in client enrollment processes at our women's mental health day treatment practice outside of regular business hours. Our ideal candidate is professional, organized, outgoing, motivated, and contributes to our positive team culture. This role works closely with our clinical and outreach teams to ensure smooth admission for client, and supports our mission of being a leading treatment program and providing outstanding client care. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:00pm-10:00pm, Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-8:00pm, and flexible within those timeframes (only requirement is working between 10-25 hours, do not need to work for all!) Fully remote.

Evenings/Weekends On-Call Admissions Coordinator Requirements

In order to be considered for the Admissions Coordinator position, you will need:

Valid Driver's License
Direct Care Experience
HS Diploma or higher, bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
To be highly organized with strong computer literacy

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities

Oversees admissions processes of the facility in an organized and professional manner on evenings and weekends
Perform admissions pre-screen assessments with clients over the phone
Maintain a detailed record of all admissions inquiries and follow up accordingly
Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies
Manage and process intakes
Participates in Treatment Team Meetings as needed
Ensures compliance with DPH & Joint Commission requirements.
Ensures patient confidentiality in compliance with 42CFR, Part 2.
Stay in close communication with clinical team to determine treatment recommendations
Assist with discharge planning and documentation, which includes:
Follow up with Clinical Director/Providers to confirm discharge plans
Coordinate for client’s transition and follow-up care, if applicable.
Contacting Clinical Director for additional suggestions or recommendations to assist in redirecting client.
Exercise sound professional judgment and seek/accept feedback and support as necessary.
Protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a health care provider.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Previous experience in mental health/medical field preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortability answering phones and making outgoing calls as needed
Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
Basic knowledge of mental health terminology and insurance processes preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
