Job Title: Funding Servicer – Real Estate Closings
Location: Needham, MA (Onsite Only)
Compensation: $20 – $25 per hour, commensurate with experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Funding Servicer to join our busy real estate law office in Needham. This role is a key part of the real estate closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in funding, disbursements, and post-closing file management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate funding, mortgage servicing, title insurance, or banking operations, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload under strict daily deadlines.

Responsibilities

Receive, prioritize, and process funding packets daily (40–100 files per day).
Review files for accuracy, including dates, amounts, initials, and signatures.
Confirm wires are received by lenders and issue cleared checks to the appropriate parties.
Prepare and send overnight packages to borrowers, creditors, and lenders.
Assist with ordering payoffs, taxes, and opening new real estate files.
Review commitments and send closing documents back to lenders.
Collaborate with paralegals to resolve any file discrepancies.
Ensure all closing and funding documents are finalized and moved to funding.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
Professional written communication skills required.
Prior experience with Qualia software preferred.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate closings, title processing, mortgage funding, or banking.
Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
